History of Avenged Sevenfold


Avenged Sevenfold (also known as A7X), is a metal core band from Huntington Beach, California.
They come from the same place where all except Synyster Gates comes from the same school, namely Huntington Beach High School. They formed in early 1999 in which personnel initially only consisted of four people is M. Shadows, Zacky Vengeance, The Rev and Justin Sane (Bass).
Avenged Sevenfold's name is taken from one of the stories in the Bible. Although it takes its name from the Bible, M. Shadows acknowledges that his band is not too religious, or aims to spread a religion or belief to the fans needed to pressure political.
In his journey, Avenged Sevenfold had changed the flow of metal-core processors become more towards alternative metal. Rumor says this is because the vocalist, M. Shadows had to undergo surgery due to a torn vocal cords due to scream too loud at a concert. But in every interview opportunity, Avenged Sevenfold often deny the truth of this rumor. Avenged Sevenfold has a recording symbol called "Deathbat". The emblem was designed by a friend during their high school, Micah Montague. This symbol always appears in every concert and almost always there in each of their albums.
Their first album, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet was recorded when they were aged 18 years. The album was released by Good Life Recordings label, but after guitarist Synyster Gates of Avenged Sevenfold's entry, the album was re-released by Hopeless Records label. The track "To End The Rapture" was also re-recorded, this time added with the guitar Synyster Gates. And finally released in July 2001. Although who played bass in the recording of the album is Justin Sane formation, but the bass player listed in the CD skin is Daemon Ash. This is because shortly before the process of mixing the album, Justin Sane removed from the band and was replaced Johnny Christ. In 2003, they released a second full-length album they are entitled Waking The Fallen. This album sold over 175,000 copies in the United States and reached number 12 in the Independent Album Chart in the United States.
Their third album, City of Evil, released in 2005. The album is one of the most successful album of Avenged Sevenfold. Tersebat album even had time to occupy position 30 in U.S. Billboard Chart and sold over 730,000 copies in the United States alone. At that time the United States is saturated with hip-hop and pop are rampant, and Avenged Sevenfold released their album City of Evil, exactly on the date of June 8, 2005. In 2007, they went back to spawn a new album titled Avenged Sevenfold. In his debut in the United States, the album was ranked fourth in the Billboard 200. This album sold over 94,000 copies in the United Serikut within one week after its release. Beginning in August 2007, they underwent their Asia Pacific tour, and had stopped in Indonesia and played their first song in public. In 2008, they participated as headliners at Taste of Chaos tour with Bullet for My Valentine, Atreyu, Blessthefall and Idiot Pilot. When the tour, they recorded a DVD that contains six of their new songs.
And in 2008, they released an album that contains a live concert recording them in Long Beach, Calif., titled Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough.
